12 months ago an amazing little man was born. Although he wasn't due to arrive until July 15, and i had really hoped he would come in June so his birthday was not in the same month as Bria, he had his own ideas choosing instead to cancel our Fourth of July celebrations.
He has proven since then to have very distinct ideas on how things should be. He has been the cuddliest of my babies but also the most determined.
He is somewhat shy but can be a complete clown when he is comfortable.
He is very inquisitive which results in a lot of unrolled toilet paper, emptied drawers and shelves, and torn up paper.
He has lived up to his monkey nickname by climbing everything in site from stairs, to slides, ladders, dollhouses, and even his rocking sheep.
He is extremely bouncy and never stops moving.
He has a love of animals, dinosaurs, cars, and his stuffed Spiderman.
He enjoys tormenting the cat and his sisters.
He is am attention hog, and while he was a surprise to me, he was planned by God. We are thankful for the surprise of Eli and can't imagine life without him. Happy Birthday Eli! |
